Another good day for winter riding with some sun and fifty plus degrees. Wind was a little more aggressive today but taking a short ride in the hills, so it wasn't supposed to be much of a factor. Headed out to Rock Stream and did a couple of highway climbs. My weight is coming down, but I am still far too heavy to accomplish any serious climbing. Since this was another low aerobic day, I just spun the ups and coasted the downs. Did see another rider coming down the hill into Watkins as I ascended. Most unusual. Had a few clouds today and there is a noticeable difference in warmth between being in the sun and out of it. The sun still isn't very high in the sky and though it is still light at five the sun had gone over the ridge by one and had to ride home through the valley in shade. Also picked up some twenty mile an hour headwind gusts on the way home but with a short ride they weren't that bothersome. Another warm day tomorrow and then a return to snow and freezing temperatures.
